I would like to thank you first for visiting my website. Here is some information about myself.
My passion to use my creativity was discovered when I was in high school. I enjoyed utilizing my creative skills in art and architecture classes. Having a creative mind is a great tool to acquire. I feel it has allowed me to use it towards anything I do in my life. I have used my creativity within a variety of jobs over the years since graduating high school. I have used it in my military career spanning 18 years as a photographer for my unit and towards other tasks, the radio industry when I worked as an intern at WAAF for two years and within numerous jobs in the office industry.
After graduating high school, I traveled in circles for many years, trying to find the best career to pursue. Unfortunately, I have so many interests to include music, photography, film and graphic design. So, I did some research and interviewed many people regarding the best career choice. Well, here I am as a graphic and web designer. I chose to pursue a career in the graphic and web design industry. I realized the skills I acquire as a graphic and web designer will be skills I can also cross over to other industries if I decide to move onto another industry within the future. But, my main reason was the opportunity to showcase my creative skills within an industry such as graphic and web design.
To become a graphic and web designer, I first had to go to school to learn the various programs associated with a graphic and web designer career. So as usual, I researched the area around Boston and chose to attend BU CDIA (Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts). The main reasons I decided to attend BUCDIA was based mainly on on its reputation and the cost associated with the program.
As a designer, I believe in trying to keep things simple as possible while trying to think outside the box to create design solutions towards any project.
On another note, I also have a Bachelors Degree from Framingham State College in Communication Arts.
